Fanae-5 is a native of Atlanta and grew up in the historical landmark – Collier Heights Neighborhood.
Her neighbors were Reverend Ralph David Abernathy, Herman Russell and other African American Entrepreneurs and prominent professionals.
She attended the historical Booker T. Washington High School, excelling in academics and becoming the first female company commander of the JROTC program.
Fanae-5 received her B.A. from Spelman College in English Literature and her M.S. in Management and Leadership from Western Governor’s University.
Fanae-5 has over 20 years of leadership experience in the public and private sector.
She recently served as chair of her organization’s Inclusion, Equity and Diversity Council and facilitated Values Integration Training throughout her career.
Fanae-5 was recognized for exemplary leadership of diverse teams in 2006.
Several years later she was recognized as “One Who Calms the Storms”.
